Description of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Cable Protection Pipe and Fitting

Def Pipeline provide all kinds of cable protection pipes and fitting in all sizes.

The HDPE cable protection pipes and fittings of DEF are made of high-quality high-density polyethylene resin as the main raw material with appropriate additives, and processed by extrusion. The pipes have the characteristics of impact resistance, corrosion resistance, anti-aging, flexibility, high tensile strength, long service life, excellent electrical insulation performance, etc. HDPE conduit can be installed through horizontal directional drilling (HDD), traditional trenching, etc. And been used as buried high-voltage cables, street lamp cable protection sleeves etc.

Corrosion resistance, aging resistance, wear resistance, and long service life: Under adverse geological environment conditions such as coastal areas and saline-alkali areas, metal pipes or other pipes must be treated with anti-corrosion. Which increase the cost and the effect is not guarantee. PE pipes have a wide range of geological adaptability since they are resistant to erosion by various media such as acid, alkali, salt, oil and electricity.
  • 6. Low coefficient of friction (COF): smooth pipe wall, small friction coefficient, easy cable routing to reach the high working efficiency.
  • 7. Thermal Resistance: Def Pipeline conduits are rated to hold electrical cables with operating temperatures up to 90° C (194° F). Electrical HDPE conduits retain toughness and ductility at cold temperatures down to -40°C.
