Details of Butt Fusion Welding Machine.

The hot-melt principle of the butt fusion machine is heating the surface of two plastic pipes to a specified temperature and then fusing them by pressure. The hydraulic automatic butt fusion machine is mainly composed of four parts, the heating plate with electronic temperature control, the milling machine, the hydraulic electric console, the frame and the fixture.

Butt fusion machines have the following categories:

1. Hand crank series. 63-160, 63-200, 90-250 model (coupling design, fully geared)

2. Hand push series. 63-160, 63-200 model (pinion design, economical).

3. Hydraulic semi-automatic series. 63-160, 63-200, 90-250, 110-315, 280-450, 400-630. 5000-800. 800-1000, 1000-1200 model (more reasonable welding range can be customized according to customer needs)

4. Hydraulic butt fusion automatic series. 160, 200, 315, 400 models (more reasonable welding range can be customized according to customer needs).

5. Fully automatic electrofusion series. 200 and 315 model.

Steps of butt welding fusion:

1. Minimize the dragging resistance, e.g. pipe rolling.

2. Tighten the spigot end of the pipe and pipe fitting by the welding machine.

3. Clean the spigot end.

4. Check whether the welding machine matches the pipe diameter and the butting cycle or not.

5. Move the movable jaw, putting the pipe against the facer and cut. When the end of the pipe and fitting is smooth and parallel to each other for accessible joint, and within the allowed error range, the facer cutting work is finished.

6. Check whether the paint coat of heating plate surface is complete and no scratch.

7. Check whether the temperature of the heating plate is right.

8. Put the heater between the two pipe ends, and make the pipes against the machine close the heater, then apply the pressure until the fused flanging reaches the designed width.

9. After the endothermic time is reached, move the mowable jaw backward, and remove the heater. Check the fused ends quickly,ensure that the heater doesn't damage the fused ends, then move the jaw again, make the spigot ends joint.
